Oxley hall is one of the best student accommodations to live in. Very spacious with green areas to sit in peace, good rooms and clean common areas.
It has lovely staff and the scenery is amazing to see when walking around. If you want accommodation somewhere quiet and like the countryside then Oxley Residence is the place. It is also 10 minutes from headingley campus and a quick 5 min walk to the nearest bus-stop to the city centre.
Oxley is brilliant! Its peaceful and calm, but still full of community programs that are organised regularly by staff, who are always lovely! The flats are great, kitchens are well equipped, and the 24 hour access to a nice gym is much appreciated! :)
Decent accomodation, spacious rooms with ensuites and good sized desks and beds. Provides more facilities and scenery than other uni halls; good value for money, but the location is pretty dreadful - you get used to the distance but can be a real inconvenience at times.
Oxley is actually the best place to be as a student. You have a comfortable place to stay, a place where you can see your follow student outside school environment and interact with them. No noise pollution, clean environment, has game room, gym and so on.
I have been living at Oxley Residences for a year and I am very happy with my choice. The residence offers exceptional value for money, with affordable prices and spacious rooms. The location is not ideal, but it is not too far from the city centre and there are some shops and bus stops nearby.
